Saeed brings over 19 years of expertise in IT governance, standards development, audit & compliance, and digital transformation across government and corporate sectors in Saudi Arabia.
In his current role as Director of Standards Development at the Digital Government Authority, he leads strategic initiatives to establish and implement national standards, fostering innovation, interoperability, and best practices in the digital government ecosystem. Concurrently, he has been serving as (Acting) Director of Audit and Accreditation (IT) since 2021, ensuring that digital projects meet the highest benchmarks for security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Previously, during his 10+ years at the National Center for Digital Certification, Saeed held senior leadership positions, including Director of Audit & Compliance, where he oversaw national-level cybersecurity, IT integration, and internal controls to safeguard critical digital infrastructure.
His earlier career spans impactful roles at Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) as a Senior Specialist and at stc as an Information Security Analyst, where he contributed to strengthening Saudi Arabia’s financial and telecom sectors through advanced cybersecurity and risk management frameworks.
Saeed’s appointment to the Saudi Dutch Business Council reflects his commitment to fostering international business collaboration, enhancing trade relations, and bridging opportunities between Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands—aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for economic diversification and global partnerships.
