Hisham’s recent appointment as Chief Marketing Officer, following his tenure as Acting CMO, reflects his deep industry expertise and consistent leadership performance. During his tenure as Director of Marketing & Sales for MEA and Asia, Hisham oversaw two major sales offices—one in Bahrain and another in Singapore, which he strategically established in 2021. Managing over 0.8 million MTs of value-added and primary products, he played a critical role in maximizing product capacity, penetrating difficult markets, and expanding Alba’s footprint across multiple continents.
His achievements include developing a comprehensive long-term marketing strategy covering customer segmentation, product lines, alloys, and country-specific approaches. He also championed modernization initiatives such as e-signature systems and digitalized documentation workflows, elevating efficiency and customer experience.
Under his leadership, the sales teams across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia achieved remarkable performance milestones—successfully growing Alba’s portfolio, increasing value-added production, and securing strong market positions in highly competitive regions. His oversight of more than 65% of Alba’s total sales, contributing directly to annual revenues surpassing $4 billion, demonstrates the scale of his responsibility and the depth of his strategic impact.
Beyond Alba, Hisham’s earlier experience with Standard Chartered Bank provided a solid foundation in client relations, product development, and commercial insight—skills that continue to complement his leadership in the industrial sector.
