Kamal is a subject matter expert in Material, Corrosion, Cathodic Protection, Protective Coatings, and Water Chemical Treatment, bringing over 25 years of expertise in the oil and gas sector. His extensive knowledge in corrosion engineering ensures asset integrity and durability across both operational plants and new projects. He provides innovative solutions for material selection, failure analysis, and chemical treatment of water systems, delivering sustainable and cost-effective outcomes.

At SABIC, Kamal leads critical initiatives in cathodic protection system design, protective coating application, corrosion monitoring, and material performance evaluation. His work focuses on implementing state-of-the-art corrosion mitigation technologies, optimizing operational efficiency, and extending asset life. By developing company standards and mentoring engineering teams, he ensures that technical excellence and global industry best practices are consistently applied.

Throughout his career, Kamal has contributed to major engineering and construction projects with Jacobs Engineering and Construction, Kuwait Oil Company, and ADCO Constructions, covering corrosion management, cathodic protection, protective coatings, and failure analysis for pipelines, process units, and offshore structures. He is an ARAMCO-approved CP design certifier and has played a pivotal role in mega projects like ARAMCO GE+, Khazzan Project (BP), and ARAMCO downstream projects, delivering technically robust and reliable solutions.
